Situated roughly 25km northwest of Cork City, Donoughmore is one of the largest parishes in Ireland.

    Sean, I don’t know the exact definitions, but I understand that a diocese is much larger than a parish. For example, you would have the diocese of Cloyne and then the diocese of Cork and Ross, and within each of those you would have a large number of parishes. I don’t know if Donoughmore is the largest parish in Ireland, but I have heard that it is. Would like to see some facts to back that up or discredit it if anyone knows for sure.
